Jason Skinrood

Jason Skinrood started his mortgage career in 2003, just as the real estate industry began to flourish. In 2008, he graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor’s of Science in business management, focusing specifically on finance and banking. When he started working at a mortgage company in 2009, his career turned into his passion when he started to work directly with veterans. Jason has personally closed over 1,000 VA loans to National Guard members, Reservists and veterans across the United States. He was ranked as a “Top VA Loan Originator” by Mortgage Industry Magazine Scotsman Guide, every year from 2011 to 2013.

In 2013, Jason decided to find ways to better serve his clients and began to originate on his own. With customer service as his focus, he joined Supreme Lending in 2014 to help his clients’ experience go from great to supreme. He has a wide range of experience with helping individuals and families, real estate investors and clients make homeownership a reality. His expertise ranges from VA loans to conventional, Jumbo, FHA and USDA loan programs and everything in-between.

Today, Jason carries on a family tradition of military service by serving in the United States Air Force as a Security Forces Specialist in the Utah Air National Guard and deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. He has earned an Air Force Achievement Medal, an Outstanding Unit Award and an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from the Community College of the Air Force. He is happily married with two kids and enjoys spending time with family and friends, snowboarding, camping and traveling in his spare time.
